FAQ's

Why would I need color-coded moving tools?

We can all safely conclude that moving is messy and hectic! However, organization is key to a smooth transition, enabling you to communicate, prioritize, and focus through the chaos. Our room-identifying products can also empower moving crews to navigate your new home independently, resulting in a seamless move-in day.

How are your labels different?

Aside from having the most extensive color-coding system on the market, we were the first to utilize a wrap-around design—meaning one label is visible from two sides of a box. Unlike many organizing stickers, our room & category labels use a permanent adhesive made to endure humid conditions and long transit times. We also consider the fact that some rooms (such as Kitchen and Storage) will require more boxes, which is why we provide higher quantities for some spaces.

Which set and size is right for me?

This will largely depend on: a) how you plan to relocate, and b) your new home’s size.

For example, our LABEL HERO™ set is ideal for ANY type of move, and particularly for DIY moves where you might only need labels. Our ROOM ID™ and PRO MOVR™ kits are ideal for professional moves because they enable your movers to work independently.

We’ve broken down our sets into two sizes, but quantities provided are rough estimates since needs will vary.

What comes with the Label Hero™ labeling system?

Our box labeling system consists of both room labels (to sort boxes by room) and categorizing labels (to help sort by urgency and handling instructions). Our labeling system is most effective when mixed and matched together to ensure boxes are both organized and handled properly.

Due to the permanent adhesive, be sure to only use our stickers on cardboard or other disposable wrapping materials, such as plastic furniture wrap.

Why do you only offer one Bathroom/Closet color?

This choice really came down to being limited on color selections (without choosing too many that are confusingly similar).

However, you still have the option to add your own notes to each label, such as using a number system (BATH 1, 2, 3) or writing phrases to help differentiate (master bath, upstairs hall bath, downstairs powder room, etc).

What if I have more than one Living/Family room or Storage space?

No biggie! Just as you would with the Bath/Closet/Bed labels, you can use the blank space to add more personalized notes or numbers that will help you differentiate (i.e. Formal living room, Family room, Play room, Bonus room, Game room, etc).

As for the Storage labels, we include four different sub-categories (basement, attic, garage, and unit) directly on the labels for you to check off and easily sort your storage boxes.

Home layouts can vary widely and everyone’s exact needs will be different, which is why we include blank lines to let you add personal details!

Can you break down the four category labels?

Use FRAGILE labels for boxes containing antiques, electronics, dinnerware, glassware, or other easily breakable items.

UNPACK FIRST labels help identify boxes with first-night essentials and household necessities.

DO NOT PACK labels are useful for keeping packers away from your designated hand-carry items (ideally in a separate, secured space)—for example, travel papers, road trip items, valuables, suitcases, or anything else you don't want loaded onto the moving truck.

Our PARTS BOX labels are a great way to consolidate and keep track of small parts, hardware, tools, furniture pieces, cables, cords, TV remotes, and so on. Inside your parts boxes, we also recommend using plastic bags to organize individual hardware sets and then label each with a marker.

How should I use the labels if I’m hiring a packing crew?

Many movers recommend and love our color-coding tools! If you request it, most will be happy to label boxes for you (you may need to give them a tutorial on our wrap-around feature). Since they would typically be writing on boxes anyway, this could be a huge time-saver and will also ease the grueling unloading process for everyone.

Some customers do prefer to label the boxes themselves and will simply follow behind as their movers finish packing each area. Do what works best for you!

Can you print custom room labels?

Unfortunately, at this time we cannot offer custom room labels. In an effort to scale the business and with higher volumes of printing, we work with a label manufacturer and all of our color-coding tools are pre-printed at the time you order.

When would I need room-identifying door signs?

Move-in day is chaos, and the last thing you need is to escort movers around your new home. Our room signs, which are color-coordinated to match the Roomeez™ room labels, will streamline this process to help them navigate around independently on unloading day.

You will FIRST want to make sure that your boxes get labeled with our room labels during move-out. Add notes to both products as needed so they match up (e.g. Upstairs Hall Closet... Bed #2... Downstairs Bath).

Be sure to hand-carry the room signs to your destination and hang them up before your crew arrives!

When would I need STORAGE UNIT labels?

STORAGE UNIT labels come in handy when you need to separate shipments being delivered to two separate places, one of which is a storage unit. This will help you or your movers identify which boxes to transfer into storage.

We still recommend using the room labels in tandem with these labels to ensure you can easily identify those boxes later when you empty the unit.

Would your products make a good gift?

Absolutely! Our products make thoughtful and practical gifts to clients, friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, military friends, and anyone else who is moving.

Moving is ranked as one of life's most stressful events - what better way to help than to reduce stress? Check out our Starter Packs for budget-friendly gifting, or our full-size sets if you're wanting something bigger!

Do you offer bulk purchasing?

We sure do - right here! We offer tiered pricing, so higher volumes = lower price per set.

We love working with realty companies/agents, mortgage companies, professional organizers, relocation companies, and others who may want to either gift our products or incorporate them into their business operations.

Are your products made in the USA?

All current products & materials are sourced and manufactured in the US, and then assembled by hand and shipped with love from Tennessee.

Our business is 100% woman- and military-spouse owned.

My move was cancelled or postponed. What is your return policy?

We allow returns on most sets (with the exception of custom-printed labels) and will process a full refund, MINUS the original shipping fee. We will also deduct the cost of the return label from the refund as well (you are welcome to ship it back by purchasing your own label, or we can access discounted rates on your behalf).
